Gant-Man, a.k.a. Gant Garrard, is a producer and DJ from Chicago, Illinois. He’s best known for his contributions to ghetto house (as the scene’s youngest participant, releasing an EP on Dance Mania at age 15), juke (as a collaborator of DJ Puncho, whose track “Juke It popularized the name), and footwork (as a member of the Ghettoteknitianz crew, later renamed Teklife).

DJ Elmoe is a footwork producer from Chicago, Illinois. He’s best known for “Whea Yo Ghost At, Whea Yo Dead Man, the lead track from Planet Mu’s Bangs & Works compilation, which brought footwork massive international attention upon its release in 2010.

DJ Nate, a.k.a. BakaMan, is a producer, rapper, singer, and dancer from Chicago. He’s best known for the bop hit “Gucci Goggles, as well as his 2010 footwork record Da Trak Genious.

DJ Clent has been making footwork, juke, and ghetto house tracks for about as long as I’ve been alive. He’s known everywhere for "Back Up Off Me", and in Chicago particularly for enormously influential tracks like "Bounce" and "3rd Wurle." He self-released his latest record, Clent, earlier this year.

Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry is a pioneer of dub music, known for his production work with his studio band The Upsetters as well as a wide variety of other acts. Throughout the ‘70s, his studio the Black Ark turned out numerous landmark records, including Blackboard Jungle, often cited as the first album of the genre. He’s since gone on to collaborate with artists ranging from Bob Marley, The Congos, and Max Romeo to the Beastie Boys, The Orb, and Andrew W.K.

COOL FANG is the musical project of Dylan Morris, a drummer and guitarist based in San Rafael, CA, but thinking about moving to LA. His newest album, Sparring, is out today.

Fabo is a rapper, singer, and dancer from Bankhead, Atlanta. He’s best known as a member of the legendary Atlanta rap group D4L (with Shawty Lo, Mook-B, and Stuntman), who are in turn best known for “Laffy Taffy. His next solo project, Return of the Jedi, is out later this month.

Carl Craig is a pioneer of Detroit techno and the head of the Planet E Communications label. He’s released classic cuts under a variety of aliases including BFC, Paperclip People, 69, and Innerzone Orchestra, returning most recently to his given name for 2017’s Versus, a re-interpretation of tracks from himself and his contemporaries in collaboration with pianist Francesco Tristano and the Les Siècles Orchestra.

Ohbliv is a producer and DJ from Richmond, Virginia. He’s produced records for rappers from Richmond (Nickelus F, Fly Anakin, Koncept Jack$on) and elsewhere (Mick Jenkins, Armand Hammer, ThaGodFahim), as well too many solo projects to count. At the time of writing, his latest is LewseJoints The Seventh One Pt.

Mike B has spent over twenty-five years engineering, producing, and performing on some of Houston’s classic rap, r’n’b, and gospel tracks. Best-known for his work with Big Mike and the Trinity Garden Cartel, his lengthy discography also includes credits for records by Devin the Dude, Big Pokey, and Mike Jones.
